workshops being carried out intermittently for the students enrolled in this
programme.
Communication is not luxury or optional, it is one of the key
skills to succeed at most things in everyday life. Children should be exposed
to effective and innovative communication workshop. Communication does not
entail only discussion or oration, children need to explore newer ways of
communication through various art forms- plays, poetry, music, dance, painting,
folk-art and sculpturing, which will take them beyond their immediate horizons
of imagination. The English Access Microscholarship
Program helps them to learn such ways of communication.
The English Access Microscholarship
Program (Access) which started in Shishu Sarothi on 18th December 2018,
provides a foundation of English language skills to bright, economically
disadvantaged students primarily 13- to 25-year-olds worldwide through
after-school classes and intensive sessions in their countries. Access
programs expose students to U.S. culture and democratic values, improve the
students’ potential to participate successfully in the socio-economic
development of their countries, and increase their chances of competing for and
participating in future U.S. exchange and study programs.
